What is it?

Aarhus Improv Weekend is an event for Danish improv teams hosted by the improv community in Aarhus. Over one weekend we come together to play, learn and share the stage with workshops in both Danish and English, open jams, and full shows from visiting and local teams.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or just getting started, this weekend is for you.

Our mission

We strengthen and connect the improv theatre community within and across borders by amplifying underrepresented cities and emerging local scenes through inclusive events, cross-cultural exchange and professional development, while positioning Aarhus as a leading destination for cultural travellers with a passion for improv.

Workshops in Danish and English for all levels, led by performers from across Denmark.

Blender

Friday night at Kulturkapellet: an evening of show and blender, mixing visiting teams and local improvisers on the same stage.

Afternoon: Workshops.
Evening: Performances at Godsbanen.

Sunday 25 October

Morning: Goodbye brunch at Aarhus Street Food. No ticket needed, just come and say your farewells before heading home.
