IMPROVISATION THROUGH QUESTIONS
Facilitator: Søren Højgaard
Which questions can an improvisation seek to answer, and how? This workshop dares to ask, and to look for answers, big and small. Improvisation becomes a journey of discovery, an attempt to learn rather than to perform. Together we'll experiment and see what kind of stories this approach can bring to life.
About Søren: An improviser and improv teacher of several years, with a background in community theatre.
Experience needed: Improv basics. This one is for people who've improvised before.
Charna Halpern (born June 1, 1952) is an American comedian who cofounded Improv Olympics (iO), theater with Del Close.

THE UNFORGETTABLE SCENES: EMOTIONALLY ENGAGING IMPROV
Facilitator: Carlos Moreno
When a show ends, most scenes are forgotten, but some stay with you: scenes that are fun but also truthful. This workshop explores what makes those scenes special and how to create them together. Key takeaways: character point of view, emotional and relationship connection, and the performer-audience dynamic.
About Carlos: Spain-born, Scandinavia-based improviser, storyteller, and facilitator with 15 years of performing and 7 years of teaching experience, both online and in person. Trained in Copenhagen and internationally, and has taught, coached, and performed across the USA, UK, Indonesia, Austria, Bulgaria, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Core member of Impro Neuf Oslo. Teaching style is warm and practical, drawing on storytelling tools and cultural perspective to build connection.
Experience needed: None, though the workshop involves moving through the room.
SILENCE! – THE POWER OF NON-VERBAL PLAY
Facilitator: Robin Bonné
As improv comedians, we all know the feeling of a brilliant story that just doesn't land because the scene is too static, or one that keeps getting more complicated because we're afraid to let it go quiet. This workshop investigates how much story can be built with body language alone. Through a mix of mime exercises, expression training, and gibberish scenes, you'll learn how silence can move a scene forward. Time to stop fearing the silence and start embracing it!
About Robin: A Belgian-born, Copenhagen-based improv comedian with a passion for acting. By day, he teaches body language and storytelling to scientists to help them sharpen their presentation skills.
Experience needed: None, everyone welcome.
Viola Spolin (November 7, 1906 – November 22, 1994) was an American theatre academic, educator and acting coach. She is considered an important innovator in 20th century American theater for creating directorial techniques to help actors to be focused in the present moment. These acting exercises formed the first body of work that enabled other directors and actors to create improvisational theater.
CINEMATIC IMPROV
Facilitator: Franziska Hiss
Remember the feeling of flipping through TV channels, jumping from one world to another? In this workshop, we jump from dramatic films to sitcoms to animated adventures. Every channel has its own style, and we bring these worlds to life using nothing but our bodies. We explore different genres and cinematic techniques, playing with pacing, characters, and storytelling. Through movement, body language and facial expressions we discover how to make each world feel completely different on stage. Together, we turn all these different worlds into one colourful, surprising, and slightly chaotic TV programme
The key objective is to discover how cinematic techniques can be translated into physical performance, using movement, pacing, body language, and facial expressions to create different genres, characters, atmospheres, and stories on stage.
THE SOUND OF IMPROV: A MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

About Thomas: A pianist with 25 years of experience across rock bands, jazz quintets, pop orchestras, symphonic choirs, and blues big bands, having shared the stage with artists including Gino Paoli, Fabio Concato, and Fabrizio Bosso.
